Our History

It took several careers and a lot of education to finally find where we belonged. Greg grew up in a small East Bay town and travelled to the East Coast for Highschool and College. After returning home to Northern California, he worked in the Banking industry for close to a decade, then transitioning into digital marketing for another six years. Greg decided it was time to return to his roots, pick up some tools and work with his hands. He found a growing Garage Door Company that was willing to take a chance on a wide-eyed, enthusiastic, salesman/technician. It was there He found his true passion for the Garage Door Industry. It combined his love of home design, attention to detail, desire to build and fix things: and brought it all together in what some would call a job. Greg calls it, Life.

We started Iron Horse Door Company with the philosophy of providing exceptional level of craftsmanship for a fair price, with the service you deserve. We blend Form and Function to deliver complete projects that transform how you look at and utilize your home. To us, the Garage Door is the most important part of your home, and we will always treat it with the attention it deserves.

Garage door died and I tried to fix it myself. Greg responded on a Sunday, showed up on a Monday, replaced it the same Friday. Recommended lots of options, moved quickly and got it done.
